This project is designed as a long-term multi-sectoral life-saving nutritional program targeting vulnerable communities indwelling IDP camps in South Darfur State. The project main activities include; MUAC screening, provision of integrated nutrition services, delivering educational messages on appropriate maternal and child nutrition, community open days and associated research project to establish the evidentiary for addressing the root and structural causes of malnutrition in the context of Darfur. Most of the project supplies is being provided by nutrition sector partners, UNICEF; WFP; and MOH.
