Finalization of two research proposals: one for the mobile clinic projects of Khartoum and Kassala and the second for the nutrition project of South Darfur
Finalization of research Data collection tools for the two projects in an electronic software application.
Obtaining the ethical approval from the federal ministry of health.
Procurement of the instruments and equipment required for the research work
Selection and training of data collection teams.
Conducting the field work ( data collection) in Khartoum, Kassala and Darfur states. Total number of households covered in Khartoum state was 693; while in Kassala the total number was 706 .

Research project related to PHF organization
Based in Sudan, PHF is a well-known organization mainly working in the health sector. Second only to the government, PHF is the largest organization providing health services through its network of hospitals, health centers and clinics spreading over many areas in different states of the country. PHF is one of the major organizations with which SALI has built strong partnership, particularly in the field of applied research. The research project we are now working on, as an outsourced service from PHF, is about “The Trends of Childhood morbidity and mortality in the past five years; a retrospective study from two PHF pediatrics Hospital”
